Quality Loudspeakers at Half the Price?

How can The Speaker Company make this claim?

The simple answer is that we sell direct to you, our customer. This lets us take the usual in-store dealer profit margin (roughly 50% in the consumer loudspeaker industry today) and pass it along to you. That’s why TSC lets you buy twice as much loudspeaker for the same price you would pay for name brand speakers in-store, or, put another way, quality loudspeakers at half the price!

Obviously, we’re not selling identical products to those you can find at your local dealer. But we are confident that if you compare our TSC speakers’ components, build quality, and fit ‘n’ finish to any speaker available at retail, you’ll find that our claim is true.

Are these really quality loudspeakers?

There’s very little new loudspeaker technology today. In fact, the first U.S. speaker patent was filed in 1874! Thankfully, a lot of evolution has taken place since.

Today, virtually all loudspeaker manufacturers have turned to overseas factories for some or all of their products.; The quality is as good as or better than products previously made elsewhere. And prices for quality speakers have never been lower.

We purchase TSC loudspeakers from the same factories that supply the well-known brands. And in many cases, we use identical or even superior components and manufacturing processes.

So, should I not buy the well-known brands from retailers?

We know that if you shop for well-known speaker name brands at an authorized retailer (or Web retailer), you’ll be purchasing a high-quality product that will sound great and give you years of satisfaction.

The Speaker Company is simply offering a different way to purchase quality loudspeakers. If you feel more comfortable buying a well-known brand, go right ahead. But if you’re looking for equivalent quality, consider us. After all, The Speaker Company specializes in quality loudspeakers at half the price.

And that’s not something you’ll find elsewhere.
