SAP Crystal Dashboard Design, departmental edition, provides everything that departments or small and midsize companies need to get a holistic view of their performance via dashboards connected to multiple data sources. It lets you plan for the future through interactive what-if scenario analysis – and then share your results in the tools you use every day – for better decision making. Plus, it comes with portal integration and data connectivity options for rapid development and deployment.

Dashboards created with this software can be deployed three different ways:

• Server deployments using SAP Crystal Reports Server named user licenses


• Standalone deployments using the SAP Crystal Dashboard Viewing option license


• Cloud-based deployments using SAP BusinessObjects OnDemand offerings

With SAP Crystal Dashboard Design, departmental edition, you can:

• Portal software: SharePoint Server 2007, SharePoint Portal Server 2003, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and 2.0. IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1 and 5.1

• License model: Licensed per named user. This product also includes one viewing license to allow the licensed user to view connected dashboards. Sharing connected dashboards with additional users requires additional viewing licenses.

Dashboards created with this product:

• cannot be deployed to SAP BusinessObjects Edge solutions or SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise software.


• cannot connect to SAP data sources, except SAP Business One.


• cannot be deployed to more than 100 named users.
