Digital River Hosts Global Network Sales Summit
Offers clients online business-building opportunities and the latest research on e-commerce trends
MINNEAPOLIS - Oct. 5, 2006 --Digital River, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRIV), a global leader in e-commerce outsourcing, today announced it is hosting a Global Network Sales Summit for its clients, including software publishers, online retailers and high-tech manufacturers. At Digital River’s summit, clients can build joint sales and marketing partnerships with companies from around the world as well as attend educational sessions on the latest e-commerce trends and revenue-generating methods. The summit is being held Oct. 10 – 12, 2006, at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine in La Jolla, Calif.
Throughout the summit, Digital River clients will have opportunities to create sales and marketing partnerships with other clients during pre-scheduled meetings. Based on these partnerships, Digital River clients agree to market and sell each other’s products to their respective customer bases in exchange for a shared-revenue arrangement.

Lee Vann, principal with Captura Group, will present a keynote address titled, “Strategies and Tactics to Succeed in the Hispanic Online Market.” Captura Group is a leading Hispanic online solutions firm that enables companies and organizations to connect with Hispanics online. Phillip Winslow, an equity research analyst in the technology research group at financial services company Credit Suisse First Boston, will present a keynote address on software trends and the state of the IT industry.
In addition to the keynote addresses, the conference program at Digital River’s fall Summit includes more than two dozen educational break-out sessions.
