Digital River Expands E-Commerce Agreement with Logitech
Launches 17 European online stores for personal peripheral manufacturer
MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 3, 2009 - Digital River, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRIV), a leading provider of global e-commerce solutions, announced it has expanded its e-commerce agreement with Logitech, the well-known manufacturer of innovative personal peripherals. Digital River has launched 17 European online stores for Logitech in addition to the North American e-commerce store that it has managed since 1999. "These and other global capabilities offer clear benefits for consumer electronics manufacturers who want an efficient and effective means of selling globally through the online channel."
"We continue to expand our relationship globally with Digital River. This expansion into Europe is a good reflection of those efforts," said Lance Binley, Logitech vice president of e-Commerce. "With this move, we can generate greater operational efficiencies, gain deeper, more consistent insights across all of our key geographies, and more easily maximize our direct-to-consumer efforts."
