Will manage a small internal QA staff (part or full time) and external QA resources.
• Manages all QA personnel for CEI
• Writes test plans for all CEI and CEE published titles
• Vets and engages outsource QA suppliers in support of all CEI and CEE titles
• Collects and analyzes test data for titles in the QA process and provides regular statistical and predictive reports to PD management.
• Works closely with development teams to ensure testability
• Manages the purchase and deployment of development hardware and software for all CEI and CEE developed titles
• Manages technical and software quality milestone certification for all incoming milestone submissions
• At least 5 years QA management experience
• At least 2 years in a QA leadership role at a computer or video game publisher
• Firm understanding of game industry QA principles
• Solid grasp of console platform licensor QA procedures, reporting systems and submissions processes
• Extensive knowledge of console platform licensor certification requirements
• Experience in both engineering/development testing and standards testing
• Experience shipping titles in both North America and Europe
• Experience with simultaneous release of multiple SKU's on multiple formats
• Japanese language proficiency highly desirable
