** Marketing Director **

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops, coordinates, and directs brand and product marketing strategy and execution activities for Capcom by performing the following duties personally, through subordinate supervisors and/or external agencies.
» To market games with a strategic, brand oriented, forward thinking approach
» Define the brand traits, plan for future releases, keep to the brand "road map", manage all product marketing execution to brand plan
» Include industry and brand research where appropriate
» Drive and lead launch plans and activities within the company in conjunction with multiple release sites (North America, Europe, Asia)
» Effectively manage and develop talent within the company
» Build "best-in-class" product marketing team and processes.
» To build the strategy to embrace community
» Online, Events, Customer outreach
» Partnership with various development groups
» Effective dialogue between various internal divisions
» Regular visits to external development teams for key milestone updates both product development and marketing related

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

» For multiple franchises responsible for brand marketing strategy and the management of product marketing.
» Manage and direct product marketing staff.
» Maintain variable marketing spending within agreed limits of net sales; manage other line item budgets within planned levels
» Responsible for marketing planning and coordination.
» Responsible for the coordination of print media.
» Manage and maintain media schedules.
» Responsible for brand strategy and positioning.
» Works with a variety of departments and outside entities to ensure integrated efforts.
» Tracks product sales to assist marketing and sales management in future campaigns.
» Manage and direct product marketing staff.
» Other duties as assigned.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Four to six years experience in managing direct staff, corporate communications programs and international responsibilities. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Experienced MS Office Software user. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience in leading major Marketing launch plans. Industry experience preferred.
