Capcom Entertainment, Inc is looking for a Business Development Manager who will Manages Business Development and relationships with Third-Party Developers. Reporting to the VP of Product Development, this position will sources, develops, and proposes potential new business opportunities for the company. Manages the activities and projects related to the pursuit of new business opportunities with Third Parties. Ensures proposed programs for product/licensing revenue and related costs meet profitability guidelines.
• Owns the day-to-day business relationships with third-party companies
• Represents Capcom at all trade shows and industry events
• Communicates with third parties to facilitate RFPs and contract negotiations.
• Owns the development contract negotiation and approval process; working with legal, strategic planning, marketing, sales, and executive staff globally.
• Assists in preparing Greenlight materials and is responsible for their circulation to relevant parties.
• At least 5 years experience in business development or appropriately related field in the game industry.
• Vast industry contacts, especially with game developer and tool providers.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work and thrive within established procedures at CEI.
• Acute understanding of product knowledge and ability to evaluate games.
• Solid understanding of the video game industry, including but not limited to products, market, development, pricing and product life cycles.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
• Good understanding of contract law.
• Effective negotiator with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
